Rock City is a big path way on top of Look Out Mountain. Different from Ruby Falls it is a do it yourself walk and explore kind of place. Another difference is that Rock City is almost completely outside except for the exception of the few tunnels you go through. Rock City also has a bigger waterfall going of the side of Lovers Leap.

Ruby Falls Is all inside a cave. You are led by a tour guide through a cave that has a lot of lights and is made for tourists to walk in. Another difference is that Ruby Falls is a long walk  to one open room and everyone stays together as one big group.  One other difference is that at one point 1,000 ft under ground, not on top of it.

I thought Chattanooga was great. My favorite place was Rock City. Rock City is amazing. It has a huge waterfall off the side of Lookout Mountain. The waterfall drops about 500 feet and is incredible. There is a platform to the left of the top that has a great view of the waterfall and Lookout Mountain.

Rock City also has many pathways that lead up to the top of Lookout Mountain. Every path makes me want to climb the rocks. One rock formation has a tight squeeze through the rock called fat man's squeeze.  Another path takes you outside then through a tunnel that has hundreds of gems on the walls. Lookout Mountain has a place at the top of the mountain were you can see this small house at the bottom that has Rock City painted on the roof. The last thing you can see are seven different states!

One of the pathways takes you through a tunnel with openings in the side where you can see different story tales. The fairy tale figures were all colored with paint that glowed in Black Light. Next you go through a wide open area called the Mother Goose village with figures and their stories written out on stands in front of you. Then you walk out at the gift shop.
